No one wants to work on a craft, accept feedback, and strive to improve until they reach a point of mastery.

Nah, they would rather do less than nothing to be successful, be angry with others who have witnessed and lived thru the struggle, and continue to believe they are striving a path by cutting corners and celebrating mediocrity.

    just like Wondough.

    ^dat ol fatherly gems ether

  2. Captain Planet Says:

No nigga. It would be hip-hop if there was some type of reasoning behind it.

This is internet bullshit, and ya’ll are trying to keep it up to make yourselves laugh.

Its corny and a waste of time and resources for both parties. Wondough could have spent the time writing that bullshit and actually worked on his craft.

BSG can put his money into recording his music and paying for artwork.

But you niggas wanna laugh, so…

    JihaD

    Nah Jihad

You weren’t saying that when 50 Cent who is worth well over $300 Million was dressing in drag to make fun of Rick Ross

Or taking his baby moms shopping

    That wasn’t even on wax

    Beef = Hip-Hop

    Hip-Hop = Beef

Hip-Hop was built on competition in the freestyle battles of the street

$Wondough$ showed that he’s about that life

Two solid diss tracks from both parties and they’d tire themselves out

Instead of bickering on nah for months

Is it all worth it tho ?

    The hard work ?

Just to get fired by your place of 20 year employment just because there was a run on a Greek bank ?

    Does your employer care ?

Do the fans REALLY care ?

    ^

    Its ALWAYS worth it.

    Always.

We celebrate Nas, Camel, Ye, Curtis, Wu-Tang, etc because they WORKED to get to where they are. There is a Laundry list a mile long of rappers that have NEVER reached those heights because they didn’t put the type of effort needed to build their careers.

    FACT.

Nigga, you don’t KNOW what I said.

Curtis clowned that nigga BECAUSE it was corny- this nigga Ricky said Curtis gave him a “look” he didn’t like at a fucking award show, but instead of seeing the nigga RIGHT THEN AND THERE, he went and recorded a Diss song?

Thats called a publicity stunt, and wild pussy, homie.

I woulda sat around and clowned that nigga too. He kept getting caught in Lie AFTER lie, but niggas wanted to see Curtis FAIL so bad they ignored it.

Beef has never = Hip-Hop homie. EVER.

    Competition= Hip-Hop.

    FACT.

    Don’t confuse the two.

Wondough has shown that he’s sensitive when people say he need to work on his music, and you have shown your willing to entertain nonsense.

Its corny on all ends, and BSG was right to ignore it.

$Wondough$ fulfilled his obligation to Hip-Hop in my eyes

He was a rapper bickering with a rapper on a website

Instead of getting carpal tunnel, he hit the studio

Now that there is what I’m talking about

We need less talk and more music in hip-hop

Fuck all that, I’m going to grind and make so much music that you’ll eventually like me. No. This written word, rhymed over a beat still requires some talent. Some niggas ain’t got it. Why can’t that just be laid out? That guy (we know who I’m talking about, he’s here) sucks. That’s it. Like no one can listen to those songs and think anything different (groupthink, yes). What’s so hard about that. Go do something else. It’s a zillion problems we’ll be facing within the next 20 years, not to mention right now. Music, honestly isn’t one of them. You ain’t got to sell out to make money.

    Never have.

You can flip it how you want, but Pap performs and makes money– he’s BEEN doing this for years now, with NO album.

A good tour manager and booking agency will get you a tour- either on your own or with another artist.

    FACT.

That nigga can perform in the tri-state for the rest of his life as long as people still want to hear Alphabetical Slaughter and the Touch It (Remix).

It may not be fair, you may not like it, but thats the truth.

Its the reason why Shawty Lo STAY touring the chitilin circuit up and down these small ass southern cities.

Same reason why Waka wasn’t concerned with releasing no album- he was making 11,000 a show off mixtape songs.

    ^

We looked like a team adding in 7-8 new players without the time to do so…

I think we targeted Desean a little too much early, we didn’t really run anything exotic on offense, and we only rushed a 4 man.

Plus, our safety gets burnt over and over again, and Casey Matthews got pushed around in the middle cuz our two larger d-lineman were out.

Vick was pressing, but only that 2nd interception was his- the 1st he lost the safety due to the blitz, and the third was a broken play- I think in a live game he woulda just took off and ran with the ball.

I’m not really worried cuz all that shit is correctable, but it was a good learning experience and it knocked all the bandwagon niggas the fuck off so we can concentrate on football.

The real question is, wtf was that from the eagles yesterday, jihad?

^stop it fam… You kno what happened
Black n Yellow! Ain’t no wins there b

So your saying the Redskins are better than Pittsburgh based on the first preseason game?

    Cuz they dogged ya’ll. Bad.

SMH @ niggas making proclamations during the preseason.

I dig all of what you typed there shelton.. but that little kizza casey matthews maybe be a productive lb one day, but I fear he is too small to man that spot, whilst trying to learn it on the fly.

The steelers, aside from that one play against asante picked on whomever nnamdi, drc and asante wasn’t covering and it worked. I worry about that.

Riley cooper doesn’t come back to the ball, not in training camp, not last year and apparently not this year. I fear Andy is going to be forced to lean on him early too. I think he likes dogs also.. bad sign for you know who.

That wide nine set creates a lot of crease for run lanes, you can get sacks, but you better have great tacklers behind the rush, do we..

  204. Captain Planet Says:

You don’t listen to very much Killer Mike do you??

Mike speaks with me ALL the time on twitter, and might be one of the most humble artists in the game- he knows what he is and the respect he shows his supporters is ridiculous.

I listened to all of Pl3dge

It was a low key great album

But it’s damn near a secret

You’re right I don’t know anything about his personal life tho, nor care to – he’s just a rapper to me

But my reaction, remains the same – when I listen to him he sounds like the industry and the world owe him something

Like he should be bigger than he is

A more constructive discussion tho – what do you think is holding him back ?

Why don’t more people know how great Pl3dge is ?

  205. Captain Planet Says:

Sometimes when I got people in the whip

I’ll play the current jams, the hot shit etc

Then I just throw on ” So Glorious ” by Killer Mike and people lose their shit

    ” Whooooaaa ! Who’s that ???? “

  206. Captain Planet Says:

” So Glorious ” is a deep song

I felt that niggas pain (n)

  207. 911 Says:

I had forgot the steelers went to the superbowl last year, that shit craze’. Second place seems like last, sometimes.

Word, and I agree with that entire assessment.

The only thing I can say is that everything that went wrong can be corrected, and it was only the 2nd preseason game, with a short camp, with a lot of moving parts.

I didn’t get too high when we went and scored on Bmore, and I didn’t get all wishy-washy when we laid an egg against Pitt.

I will say that we only ran vanilla packages on both sides of the ball- Pitt was running their regular offense and defense, most likely in response to the L they caught against the Redskins the week prior.

    @CP

You need to listen to Pledge 1 and Pledge 2- Mike is one of the most honest rappers in the game.

And yea, in some ways the game DOES owe him something- he’s fucking TALENTED, but has been caught up in industry fuckery that didn’t derail his career- it just made him realize he could only rely on himself.

    I can understand that.
