pronouncing the ‘RzA’ is still a big thing to me, seeing as I’m only 21. It shows that, in spite of the fact that perhaps, by all means, kanye pushed the beat upon hov, he still picked it apart. There isn’t as much simple decadence-rap as others may make us believe on the album.
When they say they’re trying to further the art/game, I believe them. While it’s hardly the most poetic thing in the world, it’s a whole other world in contrast to a Wiz Khalifa album. Or here in the UK, we have this Tiny Tempah cretin, who’s best bar is, ‘semester to semester, rolling with the freshers’, so yes, I do look at WTT as something as a marvelous achievement, especially if it does go platinum, because, aside from ‘Lift Off’ (which is endowed with ATROCIOUS ye ‘singing’) they’re trying new shit. No David Guetta, no Timbaland, no easy-pop shit! Not even ‘lift off’ is guaranteed easy pop. It’s an EFFORT.
