It’s sad that these kids think hip hop is about the “non-sensicle” stuff they hear on clear channel.
I suggest everyone reading this who has not heard of MF Doom to open their minds and actually listen to some of his work. He’s one of the most creative artists out there.
MF DOOM + Ghostface is not for the dumbed down audiences. True hip hop heads know this and will purchase this collab when it releases. MF DOOM & Ghostface know this as well, as they’re putting something together for a certain (small) audience who still believe in creative substance in hip hop music. Which basically is a labor of love these days.
On DOOM: MF Doom was rocking way before ghost with KMD as Zev Love X in the early 90′s. Since then he’s released classic works as MF Doom. One of my personal favorites is the collab with Madlib, “Madvillain”.
Kids please do a little homework and get some history so you can appreciate some of the great artists of our time.
And yes Ghostface is a legend in his own right as well. This doomstarks collab is history in the making. We all should support more music like this. It’s this kind of rare creative stuff that keeps me loving hip hop.
