I’m not sure if it was you or Land but I offered to make a mix and got scorn in return. I like to think I’m a rap fan with some knowledge and discerning taste. Gibbs is the first rapper in a long time that captured my attention like the god MC did back in the day. Plus he makes aggressive content – which is sorely lacking in today’s market.
Most of the niggas rapping today DON’T have rap skills. At least not on the level we used to judge them by.
I think you just looked at one side of the guy/read an interview, didn’t fuck with it and moved on. Understandable. But Gibbs is really good at this rap shit.
