a big part is this– the lack of offensive movement (not ball movement, put having your best players get the ball whey they are effective) KILLED the Heat when the Mavs switched to a zone.
Too much iso up top, and why Spo REFUSED to make use of the Bron/Wade pick and roll is beyond me. Even just having bron run the baseline and use bosh at center to draw away paint presense (him and Haslem are GREAT from 15/18 ft) would have made a WORLD of difference.
