Cory and his pops Peter and his son sit down with Envy, Angela and Charlemagne to talk about the show, his career, who in fact his manager is (we’re still not sure), his debut album, the “A Millie” leak and more. I wonder if this kid understands how fortunate he is as an artist to have his pops, who’s been there before, in his corner.

Here’s the short film Blitz produced in conjunction with his latest LP of the same name. Shot on location in Ghana by Blitz and Terrence Nance, the film features music from the album throughout. Props to the directory of photography Shawn Peters as well, because this is gorgeous.

So I was over at Amazon last night perusing the snippets for the new Vast Aire solo album Ox 2010: A Street Odyssey, and I have to say this project is sounding fresh as shit.
Here’s a snippet of the Cannibal Ox reunion track featuring the Chef, “Thor’s Hammer”. This is actually a snippet of Rae’s verse, but believe me, most of the Vast verses I heard samples of sounded mean.

Damn, remember when Freddie called out N.O.R.E. on “Militia”? Good times. Or when he went at him and Bleek again on “Inside Your Head”:
I’m sick and tired of Nore and his “What, What, What”
Write some rhymes, nigga, or get his shit up up up
I’ll beat you till your face is made ugly like Biz
If you ever open your mouth to ask
me what a Memph Bleek is
In any event, the two have finally put aside their differences and recorded a cut together.
This is the first fourth leak off Bumpy’s upcoming Statik Selektah produced LP Lyrical Workout, coming soon.
