Kiss shoots a video for “Hold You Down” off I Love You at the 5 Pointz graf gallery in Queens. I had a wack interaction with the people that run that “gallery” over the Maffew Ragazino video “Whatever You Call ‘Em” that they claim was shot there without proper permission. For some odd reason they assumed that because I posted the video on my site that I had something to do with the production and so they sent me a copyright infringement notice and threatened legal action against me if I didn’t take it down. I told them to kick rocks and to holler at Youtube or the people that actually shot the video and that was the last I heard from them. As you can see from the link above, they succeeded in having the video pulled from Youtube. I know their intentions are probably good, but as a lifelong graf writer I found their tactics very disturbing and extremely wack. As I understand it, their goal is to earn money for the gallery and the artists who painted the pieces there, and that’s dope, but going after rappers and by extension bloggers with legal threats over a music video is cornball and not at all what this culture is suppoed to be about. #my2cents.

What’s a lazy Sunday for Rick Ross?
R: Lounging in my Jordan shorts, my Gucci sandals, an ounce of weed, and a real thin Polo tee. And make sure it’s Polo because those T-shirts are real thin. You feel like you’re naked.Andy, what’s a lazy Sunday for you?
A: Exactly like the song we do. Get some cupcakes, go see Chronicles of Narnia. If it’s not in theaters, watch it at home.
