The confusion started verbally. I would be angry and lash out and go crazy. I was like: Do I got demons? I couldn’t control it. It was a learning experience. They said I have depression, schizophrenia with bipolar tendencies. It was bipolar when I was responding to 12 different impulses. I didn’t hurt nobody.

    ^

working closely with somebody like this is difficult…especially if they are partly responsible for your touring, recording, and appearance responsibilities. Shit is sad man, I don’t think that was easy for anybody involved.

I hear that, but he was as much a part of SV as T3 was. If that’s your group member & friend, kicking him out the group isn’t gonna help his mindstate.

I think that labels and management got in between them all. Classic music industry shit.

It’s probably easy to do, when after missing a session or a couple shows, an exec tells you “look your brand is dying, you’re losing money”. If it was a rock band you could just kick them out and replace them. A lot of big bands have had dude that were kicked out right before they blew up for the same type of shit.

You can’t just replace MC’s though.

In July 2010, Elzhi claimed he was removed from the group, by the “Poison” of Slum Village, RJ Rice

  19. big_seth Says:

IMO, Slum and Elzhi should never have mixed. I think it stifled his career as a rappity rapper

and didn’t really mesh with the carefree rhythm based shit that slum was doing prior.

maybe for a feature here and there. Elzhi is better on his own and Slum was better before him (except WITH Dilla)

  25. rex hussla Says:

I don’t think it was ever said how Baatin died, but he had bouts with alcohol and other substances…I remember reading stories of him out of his mind, mental problems and hard drugs don’t mix man. That shit is sad. I think it’s mostly kept secret because they’re all family…but Elzhi does speak on Baatin’s troubles on “The Reunion”

    that verse is so ill…

  26. kevfrescura de talco Says:
