Geez that new Jeezy must be something serious, huh, ya’ll reppin like shyt. I remember the last time I really took a listen to Snowman and that was kinda reluctantly when Trap or Die II dropped. I played that tape until my neighbors knew the hooks/ choruses when I pulled up.

But after that I kinda lost interest/ hope in anything Young Jeezy…… Plus “trap rap” never really has any lasting power.

  15. PG-DC Says:

“The Real Is Back” belongs in a dumpster with Brenda’s baby

The problem with this compared to Trap or Die II is that:

    1) Jeezy has less metaphors and catchy punchlines on this

    2) The bamma aint diversify his beat selection, he got me listening to the same song 4 times over

    3) It’s not as triumphant as TDII – I think Jeezy lost faith in himself

This like the Cold War and I think Ross might’ve won this battle!?!?

Ehhh, there’s no talk about it anymore, and the buzz is all but gone.

At this point I’d rather hear KanyexNas, KanyexRoss, KanyexWayne, KanyexCudi, or some other combo before KanyexJay.

The only appealing part of it would be what the beats would sound like and who would outshine the other.

Jay-Z’s stark conventionalism and trend hopping will cancel out Kanye’s inventiveness and ambition.
