DAMN this is fucking ill to watch. J-Zone, who maintains a blog over at the ego trip website, recently dug up this incredibly rare footage of the GZA (then The Genius), The RZA (then Prince Rakeem) and ODB (Ason Unique) on a public access show called Rhythm & Soul promoting GZA’s first, pre-36 Chambers LP Words From The Genius. Everything about this clip is epic from the host’s hair-do, to GZA’s acid wash denim suit to ODB repping as the dancer of the crew. At the end Genius spits an a capella freestyle with ODB on the beatbox.
