L.A. Reid Hints at Future Music Label Executive Position
It comes as no surprise to those who know how these things work, but earlier today L.A. Reid explained to Angie Martinez that he didn’t resign as head of Island Def Jam to simply judge Simon Cowell’s X-Factor for the rest of his days (he was replaced by Barry Weiss):
Listen, I’m nobody’s fool, I didn’t give up my day job. I just left, I had to leave Universal Music Group and try my hat on someplace else, that we’ll announce, well… we’ll announce that in a little while.
