Not when it’s funny. Def way less annoying than the ‘nh’ movement.

SMH at everybody wondering about the length of song…this and that…this is what’s wrong with the blog age of music. Ever consider this is part of a project? Like there might be a track before it or after it? Maybe it sequences into an even doper track…maybe in the flow of the album, this track is perfect for what it is.

breaking down of conventions is why postmodern music, literature, movies suck. the breaking down of the conventions is the only novelty and is some form of shock value, not the content.

I agree with the first part, but holy crap it’s just a guy doing one verse instead of 2 or 3–not really some self conscious postmodernism or anything. It’s not like he released a sound collage or something.

Eminem seems like an even worse fit for Bonnaroo than Kanye.

DOOM, Jay Elec, and Mos have released incredible one verse songs. There’s something to be said for leaving the listener wanting more. I don’t think one verse songs are a trend though. How many songs on the radio have one verse?
