It appears that Jay-Z’s recent visit to the Kentucky Wildcats locker room has forced the NBA to investigate the meeting. The league does not allow NBA personnel to make contact with college players who are potential lottery picks before draft. As partial owner of the Nets, Jay may be fined for this infraction.

land spoke on this a while back, and nowadays its becoming painfully apparent that there’s hardly any more soul in rap. don’t get me wrong, you have a few artists still doing their thing and staying true to their craft, but the vast majority of these negus all rap about fucking hoes, getting money, and swag. the game needs that godbody, civilize the 85′ers rap.

S.I.C.K records presents The Chief Is SICK!!!(mixtape) 12 original jewels produced entirely by SICK. DJ Chase on the cuts. Making his debut is CHIEF aka YOUNG TUT. This mixtape will explore the social ills facing the black community. The glaring single “Get Off Yo Knees Bitch”is a bouncy yet soulful appeal to the lose women who cheapen themselves for a dollar. “Nation Time”is a black anthem directed toward the misguided youth, giving them realistc alternatives to reform themselves. “Eat To Live”explores the dietary shortcomings of most low income families. It also explores the epidemic of obesity in the hood.Peep ‘The Chief Is SICK” coming this summer!!!

  36. London Bloke Says:

The god’s sense of timing is all the way off,

    ^this is ironic too maybe

Cause even as a borderline JayE stan I’m not sure if he woulda had as much popularity in say the 90s. There were more rappers similar to him. But them times he had the ends of the gloves cut off, hands over the fire in the barrel under the overpass kinda swag.

So he more popular now then he woulda have been cause of his timing. He stands out in a rap world devoid of soul. Its not like he 20 spitting 90s stuff now. He’s old enough to have been around in the 90s.

So his timing is both a gift and a curse.
