Quinton set the bar with that one. He damn near created his own genre. Like someone just said: the dialogue. It resurrected Travolta’s career and made Samuel L. Jackson a household name. And that kind of story telling combined with that level of violence was really unheard of in a mainstream flick before that movie dropped.
