^We desperately need a PG in miami
    ^
They need a better big man IMO more than a PG. MIA has the luxury of having a 2G and SF that are very good ball handlers. They really need size… (II).

The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics have emerged as the leaders to sign forward Troy Murphy, sources close to the situation told ESPN.com.

    ^
    Buyout Season has begun.

    ^
Another serviceable guy that could be important. Murphy can rebound and knock down the jumper if left open.

  10. DJ Chase Says:

I refuse to believe that Joe Dumars was just “lucky” in assembling that cast that won the NBA Championship. Cuz literally, since they lost to lebron in the Conference finals that last year, he has completely fucked that team up

  11. AmpGeez a.k.a. Amphernee Hardaway Says:

Remy tried to say the gun wasn’t her’s in this latest appeal.he said the victim pulled out the gun & in the ensuing struggle is when she got shot.

The judge denied it seeing as how this “fact”was never mentioned in the initial trial nor was any evidence supporting it..

Remy musta hired Gerald Saluti esq.

They need both, TBH. They have good ballhandlers, but they have terrible decision makers. They also have no one outside of Wade and Lebron who attack the basket, and thats something Bibby is known to do. House and Jones and Chalmers are content to shoot 3s all day, but (like against the Knicks) when they don’t fall, then you have to CREATE, and them niggas can’t do it= FACT.

Murphy would provide more length up front and someone off the bench who can shoot and put the ball to the floor as well. Those type of things can mitigate a need for a 5, which needs to be the off-season focus for the Heat.

    JihaD

  13. DJ Chase Says:

@D Block. Right on both counts. If we could get both Murphy and Bibby, it’ll be a great situation. But Murphy is needed more than Bibby.

But aside from the size issue, our main problem is getting into the offense. Lebron nor wade needs to be running the offense. If we had a PG that could do that, it would free them both up to just score and play defense.

We’re trying with Chalmers, but he’s not a true PG, and Arroyo is garbage and scared to shoot the ball for some reason.

    In BOLD.

Truth. When the game slows down to the half court is when the Heat get into trouble. Its why they have such a problem maintaining leads– once the game slows down, they have no way to continue scoring. The old way of Bron and Wade dominating the ball and passing when its convenient is over for them, but those type of habits die hard, and you can see it when they play against better teams.Thats why there needs to be a PG who can drive, dish, and run the offense– if you watched Billups at the end of the game, thats EXACTLY what he did– he made the Knicks stop, reset their offense, then made the play he thought was correct.

I guess for them (Heat and Knicks both), this whole season is one long training camp. By the 70th game, if they don’t have it together, they might be one and done tho.
