I remember reading in Complex a while back that Donald Glover who plays Troy, also raps under the moniker Childish Gambino, but I hadn’t actually heard any of his shit.
Above is his new video for “Freaks and Geeks”, which will appear on his upcoming EP, due out March 8th.
Glover, who made his name doing stand-up and writing for NBC’s 30 Rock, will be embarking on the IAMDONALD Tour come April 16th. Hit the jump for the flyer and more info.

I’m bout to cop an NES, SNES & N64 this weekend. them games are hella cheap.

Childish Gambino has lyrics but he’s just not rap cool, you see the video. He should be a ghostwriter for rappers. A&R’s gotta get a hold of this guy. He’s not above ghostwriting, that essentially is what television writing is.
