Not only is P scheduled to be released from prison next month, he’s also preparing to drop his autobiography in April. If you’ve visited this site for any significant amount of time, then you know I’ve had my fun busting Prodigy’s balls over the years, but on some real life shit, I’m glad to hear he’s coming home. And if this book is even half as entertaining as some of his letters from jail, it should be a NYT bestseller in no time. How dare you question that man’s trendsetting.

It could have been worse: He also had a watch with an MP3 player on it, but another inmate took the rap. “He was a solid nigga,” says Wayne. “Shout-out to Charles…Solitary was the worst. No TV. No radio. No commissary. Basically you’re in there 23 hours a day.” The only upside was he had a window where he could watch cars go by. “I used to sit at that motherfucker all day,” he says.
