I would listen to DF again, but that whole “bring the song back 6 times before it starts” annoyed me INSTANTLY on the album.
I had already heard SA and DIAND for WEEKS before, so they didn’t inspire me to go back.
and Blame Game was aight IMO.
Like I said, I think the album was dope, but Kanye is turning into the George Lucas of Rap.

We added Dark Fantasy and Black and Yellow at request from Hopp and You.
We added Destination because we had a shitload of time after Speez went Loch Ness Monster on the world in Nov.
And I did Regina because I recorded all my shit fast as fuck in the studio and had an extra two hours– I literally took a song off Lito’s beat tape and rapped about weed.
48 Bars, Karate School, and War are all songs that may/may not go on our LP, but were already played on LWH radio.

Rakim came out in the wrong era and BIg and Pac, short careers, respectively, made them the Bo Jacksons of hip hop. Analysis: With his ability to move his offense for fourth-quarter drives, Freeman has moved ahead of the good class of quarterbacks in 2008. He could easily be elite by his third season.
Chance of being elite: 85 percent
14. Sam Bradford, St. Louis Rams
Analysis: Were he not a rookie, I would immediately make him an elite quarterback as quickly as I did Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco. Only three quarterbacks have thrown for more than 3,000 yards as rookies, and Bradford was one of them.
Chance of being elite: 99 percent

Oh and just to weigh in on the much rehashed nas vs jay. I feel like nas is the best rapper to ever do it. jay is the best mc. Rakim came out in the wrong era and BIg and Pac, short careers, respectively, made them the Bo Jacksons of hip hop. Not a shot, but jay wasn’t or isn’t as talented as Nas, Big or Pac was, but he maximized a lot of the other stuff.
Either way, I think BIg and Pac would have died one way or another, word to the alphabet boys still having the no messiahs rules in play in the 90′s. That’s a whole ‘nother story though..
