I got to see Pete Rock in DC back in 2008 when the Cue Bar was open on U Street. He came through and spun but was basically promoting his album at the time (met an Indian chick that night, totally unrelated). He let the cut “We Roll” (Max B, Jim Jones) play and I was in that mofo losing my mind. And probably the only damn person who knew the lyrics. Nahright posted that song early.
