Truth. I think he was the first QB to beat Green Bay on the road in the postseason in forever. But he relied way too much on his athleticism. Now he’s a much more polished passer – he could always gun it downfield, but he’s a lot more patient now.

When we moved back to Nigeria, we had a NTSC system TV and the system over there like in the UK is PAL. No TV for about a year. The day we got it converted, I turned the TV on it was Arsenal away to Nottingham Forrest. I think Ian Wright hit a brace or hattrick + the yellow away jersey and I was hooked immediately. This was in 1992/93.

I had absolutely no idea his buzz was as big as it is, and that show proved it. Out of every show I’ve been to in the past year this one was definately the most packed and live. Also… Jay E’s ceiling is Common’s “Be” album in terms of sales and stature. You’re kidding yourself if you think otherwise. I’m not talking lyrics or respect or any of that stuff. I’m talking strictly sales and stature in the game–and even then, Jay E will have to be on some huge records to even reach that.
The problem is, hip-hop on the radio is all about that Young Money bullshit (no ranting, I promise). Jay E is gonna sound completely out of place on a Lil’ Wayne or Drake joint.
If he tries to hang with Hov or KanYe, he’ll probably have the best verse (debatable considering Jay’s 2010 output has been fucking ridiculous), but he’ll get outshined in terms of star power.

Don’t know about ever but definitely of the 2000′s. That shit flawless from start to end and it was concise! PERFECT ALBUM. Common was spitting serious knowledge and he sounded hungry too + he was backed by Ye and Dilla (on 2 cuts). DONE DEAL!

That’s an exaggeration to say the least. Hov’s best verses are on RD and that’s JUST FACT!
Apart from maybe nas on Illmatic or Lupe on FNL & The Cool, I don’t think i’ve ever heard better rapping than was done on RD.
