Sidebar: Fab’s verse on “Remember The Titans” >

Shorty say right after the suck, fuck, poof
You hit it on the head, girl: duck, duck, goose
You shoulda got the message that I chuck up deuce
Break em off and leave it, you seen my fucked up tooth
It’s fuck a bitch, there’s more fish in the aquarium
I rarely hear no, like when n****s ask you to marry them
There’s no lights in the place you buy your jewelry from
Funeral Fab… I’m just here to bury them

Video: Nas on Hip Hop’s G.O.A.T. Title

Thursday, October 21st, 2010

In this bonus footage from the Next 48 Hours with Nas & Damian Marley, Nas expresses his take on the Greatest of All Time debate with DJ Green Lantern on Sirius XM and says hip hop is too young to even be having this discussion. He makes some good points by comparing it to other older music genres, his opinion on someone like LL Cool J calling himself the Greatest and even explains where he feels he’s at with his legacy, but everything he’s saying here has obviously been influenced by what people have said about him throughout his career. He’s basically trying to say to wait until he’s done before you rank him.
