Indeed. I’ve tried to find a download link for it, but no success. There’s a post in the Nah archives that makes a reference to an alternative beat, but the link’s dead. I could just rip an mp3 from the YouTube clip, but a CDQ version would be ideal.

Yea The Joy has been on instant repeat since I heard it. No changes needed that shit is perfect. Ye is just doin shit on a different level right now.

I dont get the hate on the features though. Not really any unwarranted features other than Minaj. Ross, even if you hate him, would sound ill as hell on DIAND, as he always does on like beats. And who doesnt wanna hear Pusha T on Ye beats? So far the album is lookin ill, wish there were a couple extra tracks but fuck it, we get a free track every week.

And Most underrated G.O.O.D. Friday track = G.O.O.D. Friday. That beat is ill and Pusha T kills it.

Only downside of the hype for this album is that people are overlooking the Cee-Lo album thats about to drop. Everything hes dropped from the album has been dope

That was literally one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to listen to in my life. I don’t mean hard in the M.O.P. sense, I mean like I wanted to rip my own ears off. Wtf, she sounds worse then that skit on Joe Budden’s album where their making fun of that retarded ass flow. And please, give me Till I Collapse Em over slim shady any day. That shock rap shit is tired and was a terrible gimmick to begin with. Em’s a talented MC and should realize he doesn’t have to stoop to gimmicks like that to warrant people’s attention.

Someone explain Minaj’s popularity to me. I’ll give her that she has a decent flow when she’s not speakin in different accents, but that’s like 5% of the time??

Because you keep posting illegal music and download rap/hip hop instead of buying it.

Don’t act surprised when you fav. artist gets dropped from the label.

Go out and purchase it. If you got love for hip hop.

And to that fat fuck that posted Kanye’s album, kill yo self. Go purchase Kanye album, stop downloading.

I’ve never downloaded an album/song in my life. Just purchase it.

I respect Mc Hammer tho…when you become rich…niggas like Diddy, 50 Cent, Baby and Hov…they left the hood behind…they don’t look out for the ghetto….that’s why these niggas aint allowed back into their old projects…they have a lot of enemies back home…they have to roll with police…and bodyguards..

MC Hammer he got rich become a millionaire…he gave his whole hood jobs…He came back and helped black people…co-signing loans….getting people in his neighborhood cars….giving money to his homies..

That’s what Black people need to do when we get rich…not leave the hood behind…and leave your ghetto people behind…

that’s why Jay-Z, Baby, 50 cent cannot go back to their old hoods…without getting robbed or shot…they only go their with police protection or BG’s…

seriously…one day on nahright we got millionaires, who are accountants, lawyers, doctors, pharmacists…that make 140,000 a year…and are only 25 years old…they drive foreign euro whips…and fuck dimes..

then next day…we got illegal music downloaders that can’t afford to drop 10 dollars at best buy/walmart/target for a rap / hip hop album…

Don’t talk about the culture dying….when you download illegal music…because your destroying it…

I’m all for purchasing albums as well. Every LP I’ve heard this year, I’ve bought. In D-Block’s defense, I’m pretty sure he’s copping Kanye’s record, and its not like he posted the actual retail. As for Oakley, he’s dropping links to obscure songs on albums like Let’s Get Free and Xzibit’s first joint that are actually out of print and mad difficult to get ahold of. And there’s nothing wrong with dropping instrumentals.

I agree on GP too. I still buy albums… there are artists I’m locked into because they’re I already have their whole discography, so they’re pretty much gettin’ my money no matter (See: Jay-Z, Clipse, ‘Ye even though I’m positive MBDTF is gonna be crackish). And ones I support even if the LP ain’t that strong cause of the indie movement (copped slaughterhouse and pilot talk).

But hell, I play out my Thank Me Later download… no regrets.

Bad economy + sting from the late 90′s/early 00′s era of a neptunes single and a timbaland single and then 16 tracks of bullshit and wack skits… it really does feel like I’m voting with my dollar, which means I actually buy less music.

  308. Charles Oakley Says:

I don’t post retails or what-I-presume-to-be-well-known-tracks. Like, B-Ease said, I try to post obscure tracks from imo good albums. Maybe it will spark their interest and they will go download the album off of itunes.
