Lloyd Banks Talks Kanye, Possible Nas Collabo
Lloyd Banks appeared on XXL‘s weekly interview show earlier and shed some light on the Kanye collaboration rumors. He said they were in the studio two nights ago (along with John Legend and Kid Cudi,) and that they cut 2 records: one for HFM2 and a G.O.O.D. Friday track. Kanye is both producing and rapping on the track that’s going to be on his album. He also confirms having a song with Pusha T for the album.
Related: The two might end up dropping on the same week.
After the jump, Banks says Nas might end up being one of the artists on the G.O.O.D. Friday track he’s set to appear on.

In this case, though, he is right. If he wasn’t GIVING the blogs/internets/fans new music every week, then yea, it would be justified. However, the song that was leaked doesn’t even sound partially finished, and with the way that Fuckboy Shake, Ashley ,and rest of the NMC speak, how hard would it have been to say, “nah, we don’t need to post that” or “lets call around and get some answers?” When Justin Blaze tweeted about Exhibit C being for sale and not to put up a DL link, they all capitulated and encouraged people to buy the song. What’s so different about this?

i mean, my point was that if he was giving music away– specifically new music every week, then why did the blogs STILL post the bullshit? Like I said above, their is precedent set with the major blogs to capitulate to larger acts and not post if asked, but why did they choose to post that shitty, half-finished Kanye song? While I could care less about GOOD friday songs (like you said, they have been an exercise in overindulgence), I was looking forward to the Lloyd Banks x Nas song, and if thats not coming out, I may actually get pissed off.
But it is what it is.
