@ ghost. That midi pad I copped works well, but garage band is kind of limited. I’m gonna re-install the other music software I have and see how that works.
You use the straight up MPC? this thing works pretty similar, but all the drums and everything are in the computer. With garage band you can’t install other drum kits so I’m stuck with their generic sounds right now.

Case in point, niggas will clown wearing phat farm and rocawear, but drop thousands on gucci, hermes and the like… all for what? It not WHAT you wear, but HOW you wear it.
^ In 2010 I would definitely clown someone rockin’ Phat Farm or Rocawear, but I definitely would support Play Cloths, Nuwbia, and my cousin because they make some fly threads. It’s nothin’ wrong with luxury brands, but I couldn’t see me paying full price for ANY of it. I’d buy it at a wholelsale discount for pennies on the dollar. All clothing prices are inflated (because everybody got profit: the designer, warehouses, dept stores, etc) but I’d rather put that inflated price in a Black company’s hand. Also it comes down to quality. Some of us would rather put out piece after piece of some bullshit instead of some small collections of quality.

^What’s it called/how much is it? I’ve dabbled in music creating software but knocking out drums on a keyboard is not the business. Two of the first kids I met at college this year are obsessed with the wu like me and both make beats so i wanna get together with them no homo, but first wanna buy either a midi or a mpc.

great insight. I agree. That’s why I try to put quality in everything I do.
I remember justifying my purchasing of Rocawear due to putting money in a black man’s hand.
but in the end like Ye said:

This arab beard trend on niggas under 30 is disturbing.I used to rock the G Levert side burns with the afro blown out tapered on the sides, but that`s as far as I went.I started banging younger chicks with birthmarks in the split of their asses so that premature old head look had to go.

^This. I was trying to find the right words to respond, but this pretty much sums it up.
Bottom line is, we haven’t had shit for a long time, like the dog eating from the bowl, so now that we have a little we keep trying to keep up with those whose paper is much longer than ours. Its like trying to gamble with someone who has the bank and his paper is much longer than yours, he can ride out those losses fully well knowing that your streak will end soon and he’ll get all his money back and all of yours too

Yeah I figured that’s how it would work…I never messed with garage band that much so I’m not sure, I thought with all those softwares you could always create a folder and add your own sampled drums in there to use. You should be able to add you drums to just about any music software, just look up how to do it (youtube or google). Honestly, I don’t mess with mpc I got my own way to sample and I use softwares like Reason and FL to lay the drums, call it whatever but it works for me. I do believe you can find drum loops for GB online tho…I think so I could be wrong
