Video: Drake Talks “It’s Never Enough” Mixtape
Drake spoke to Sway backstage at the VMAs rehearsal about his upcoming mixtape that he’ll be finishing up in November/December (after this tour) and will be trying to release around Christmas-time. He also had the chance to clear the air about recently leaked references tracks that he had done for Jamie Foxx, Rita Ora from Roc Nation, Rihanna (and Trey Songz) that won’t end up on the R&B mixtape.
When asked about the new album, he mentions a song that will also be the first track on the mixtape.

The Typography is kind of ill on that cover.
Take notice. Its not the best shit ever, but probably some of the best XXL has ever done.
^^^
XXL was decent for a long time, but the proliferation of 50 Cent covers and then Lil’ Wayne stories, plus the fact that the interviews/information in the magazine was ancient with the rise of blogs, kiiinda makes it obsolete. The fact that ‘Ye is doing his own article is intriguing, but overall, the Spin/Rolling Stone/NYT/or NYM features are much more interesting/in depth.. Even the Playboy or Complex interviews are more insightful. Still… Gonna cop!

@ Rey,
most magazines are way to busy (layout wise), the source and XXL were always too busy and the covers (even that one) have the same font, but they handled it fairly well this time.
Complex is put together okay, but its still really not a well designed/layed out magazine.

^Since back in the day, the population has doubled in size and more celebrities have risen. People have also gotten impatient to wait that long for a cover story.
If you need six months to write something about a person, it better be a biography.

^Word. Standard Per Diem is up to $150 tax free. They won’t even make money off the back end of that money. They still have to pay salary and operation costs. Who in the fuck knows what their expenses for the artist will be like.

Theres an intangible thing you get from reading that can always trump visuals tho.
Probably because you are using your own brain to create images of what ur reading, instead of being fed the images
