Shyne on Curtis: “He’s Stalking Me”

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

Shyne reacts to Boo Boo’s prank call:

“Wow. That’s like an all-time low,” Shyne said. “I didn’t know he was so desperate. He’s gone from confidential informant, witness-protection program dude, getting order [of protection] on muthaf—as. Now he’s a stalker. I was in shock. He called up saying he was ‘Jamal from Harlem.’ He didn’t call up saying he’s Curtis Jackson, Hawaii 5-0. He’s a busta. I can’t believe it. I can’t believe he would stoop to that low. Then again, a guy in the witness-protection program, he has no shame.”

Big Remo feat. David Banner – Wonderbread (prod. 9th Wonder)

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

Off Big Remo’s upcoming album, Entrapment, out September 28th through 9th’s It’s A Wonderful World label.

“Entrapment is a play on words, running from the “trap”. Big Remo embodies that and has his own view of the South. His point of view is somebody who has lived a certain lifestyle, and is trying to make a way to get out of that lifestyle, while still reflecting on it. As you get closer to the end of the album, you can can start to see the change that I’m talking about,” says 9th Wonder. “Even with change there is a gradual process, which the soundscapes he chooses gives him the chance to show that process. Truth be told, there are a lot of cats like him who live in the south, Big Remo is their voice…..enter “Entrapment”.
