August 31st, 2010 at 10:18 pm
I think if Fab, Banks & Budden bless the same track together, Fab may not fare as well as he thinks he will.
Plus he kinda dry snitched on Joey, talking about how he waits till all the other verses are done before he does his.
It’s his record, why wouldn’t he do that?

Mr. Brown’s attorneys believe Mr. Jackson breached contract [with Young Buck] and the duty of good faith and fair duty.”
To further explain her point, Jones used an analogy: “[If] you are contractually obligated to teach someone how to swim; you sign an agreement. Then you are giving a swimming lesson [and] you hold the person’s head underwater. You’ve breached that contract.”
^^^
This attorney is dumb as shit….
Continuing her shitty analogy- If someone (Curt) not only taught you how to swim (promoted you and you records), bought you life preservers ( received money from EVERY G-Unit product- the clothing, shoes, video games, etc), showed you how to build your own pool (a Watch line, a clothing line, and your own label with signed acts), then finally went into the water to save you twice (payed the niggas taxes, TWICE) after you went into the deep end (the drugs and fuck yous on stage) for this person, then what would you do?
Stop teaching the nigga how to swim….
Keeping it funky, though- this Bankruptsy shit is going to backfire because David is gonna have to reveal his actual finances before and after the proceedings, which is going to show he already had finances from G-Unit prior to signing his contract. Even worse, the personal debts he owe are going to allow the Jew-Unit to legally claim to keep David in contract until he creates material that will allow him to sufficiently cover not only the debt he owes Mr. Jackson personally, but also the cost accrued from promoting David Brown and his career over the last 6-7 years. That money alone will go into the millions. He might fuck around and get his whole case reversed and his assets seized over some dumb shit like this.

Nah, most songs are wrote the opposite way.. Chorus first, then verses later once the Chorus/concept is in place.
@amp- Releasing him doesn’t absolve the debt. G-Unit had no distrubution until this year, so there was no way to put out a project. David is going to have to prove that Sha and 50 were keeping him from “getting money”- but a quick youtube search can show this nigga at shows in:
Florida, Detroit, Mississippi,Tenn, and NC- all in the last month or two, so we can’t say he is being kept from performing and earning an income.

He tried begging and pleading for reconciliation with no results.
He went on a Fuck G-Unit tear that barely registered on the radar.

David won because he stood out from the core three, particularly vocally.

and all those G-Unit releases were basically off-shoots of the G-Unit/Aftermath formula; I just think Jayceon got extra push being the “west coast” artist (I mean, just looking at his producer list alone, if that nigga didn’t go 5x plat, NOTHING was going to get him there)
All this is irrelevant. David would still be stuck in California where Terius left him if Curtis wouldn’t have saw the talent (to his credit) and marketed that nigga as the “next nigga out of the south”…

If you look at the amount of dope records they left on the G-Unit Mixtape series, then you can pretty much draw your own conclusions… Curtis was trying to serve too many masters and satisfy too many people– the sheer volume of music released in only a six period is pretty staggering when you start to really break it down.

I forgot the name but I’ve been hunting that track down for a minute.

23… A couple got switched around or put on mixtapes. Other songs got scrapped and given to other artists (anotha dolla becoming what if for example). Some songs are missing hooks, others second verses. Overall, though TBW was shaping up pretty rugged, especially if u took the standouts from RA and the ones from TBW.

There was a Banks track which used the same sample as Wayne’s Gossip but flipped it another way.
It was called Death Wish & I lost it a while back. Never found it again and there’s another inferior track from Banks called Death Wish that makes it that much harder (pause).

I thought that was common knowledge. I been a Curtis fan for a while now. I appreciate that he ain’t doing nothing but what he’s been doing– making gangsta rap without the pretext. I choose to ignore all the fuckery and listen to the music for the same reasons I listened to it in college– it was dope to me. They picked dope beats, and talked about the shit I like to listen to. I also respect 50 for actually saying how he feels about shit, rather than trying to be diplomatic and stay friendly. Fuck that.
And two times? Nah, I always been JihaD on here, and elsewhere as a matter of fact.

^^Thing is though if I was caked up like him I woulda purchased real estate first off, got that solid investment happening. Then if there was coin left over I would have splurged on caine and clunge. Dickhead had it all fucked up. But essentially, Curty Curt only demanded loyalty from his team, for that you get caked up, that’s all Buck had to do basically. He should have had a good look at his contract before he signed it too.
