Yeah, Ye kind of went nuts at the end over the Swizz produced part, but honestly it sounded no different than what T.I. can do on a guest verse without trying. Seriously.
Ye didn’t go in like he did on I’m So Appalled where there were memorable lines and an actual meaning besides boasting.

Notorious was cool with me to a point, but it would have been cool to see actors cast to play Nas, Wu, LOX et al. even if they only had a cameo on the red carpet at the Source Awards. For me, the film lacked perspective -I know it was about BIG, but they should have put his life – and especially his music in the proper context. He was part of a movement. I remember reading that he considered Redman’s ‘Dare Iz A Darkside’ as direct competition to ‘Ready To Die’. They could have got Reggie to play himself. Give him an afro wig, make him but the twisted up bits of tissue back in his nose and it’s ’94 all over again.
Shit – you could watch that movie and get the impression that BIG invented rap.
