I’m pretty sure it’s 99c per download on iTunes – Apple takes a fee for putting your music up and then the rest is yours – it would be pretty easy to figure out if you know how many he sold…

In terms of solo sales – If Lil Wayne comes out with another 800,000 to 1 million out the gate – he’s pretty much level pegging with 50. GRODT was 800,000, The Massacre was 1.1 “in a short week” (c) Jada. He’s had 4 solo joints, a film soundtrack and two group albums. Impressive for 7 years – works out at an album a year – Jay did that and look at him now, it’s impossible to have a GOAT conversation without his name coming up.
Having said that 50′s sales dropped dramatically towards the end (T.O.S. and BISD). You can offer the fact that sales are slow because of downloading these days – but that’s exactly the same shit he was using to clown niggas for years.
It’s interesting to me that he’s had no new music out in awhile. Shit – he put more effort into the Pimpin Curly skits than he did BISD. Me personally, I think all the extra drama is a cover for the fact he’s got writer’s block. When was the last time you heard 50 on anything that hit as hard as I Get Money? Ah – this is where opinion comes into play. I personally didn’t like Before I Self Destruct or Curtis that much and they were nowhere near his previous albums in terms of sales. By industry standards he’s still selling well, but by his own? Did he not go batshit when he found out he got outsold by Graduation? And he still did like 700,000 on that – first week. Dude has a lot of pride – if all the shit he’s done in the last 7 years doesn’t prove that, nothing will. The point I’m making is that his shit went from being undeniable to ‘meh’ in my opinion in a very short space of time. He needs to do something to get back into his GRODT mode. Not make the same album, but a piece of work that’s as creatively interesting as that. That’s why I liked the Massacre – He found the fine line between the super polished Hollywood Dre production and the grimy New York beats…
Sidenote: You can miss me with that beef shit too – it’s all window dressing (see Jeezy vs. Ross)

All round madness – Funny enough – I think a West Harbor site would be good for bringing business downtown. West Harbor is, unfortunately for all intents and purposes a toxic waste dump. I know the cat who blew the whistle on that. He also found another place in the East End with suspect barrells just kicking about. Unfortunately for him – he didn’t realise the same spot was also a grow op for a million dollars worth of weed, so there’s gonna be some pissed bikers. But that’s another story.
I do, however, think it’s kinda fucked up that Bob Young is trying to hold the city to ransom, by saying the Ti-Cats will leave. Apparently the city subsidises them to the point that they rent the Ivor Wynne stadium for $2500 a game. So it’s not like they’re really in a position to bargain. They just have to deal with the decision, if they hang around. But if they end up staying put – the crowds are going to be light for a while. At any rate I’m an outsider essentially – what do I know?

Not only is nicotine the most addictive narcotic after crack cocaine, the habit of doing so after you eat, when you wake up, etc makes it a daily routine that’s hard to shake. My first week off the trees was like hell on Earth. I’m almost at 5 years THC free. The first day I relapsed dug my shit outta the trash and lit up. I guilt tripped,flushed the rest,and never looked back. I couldn’t sleep the next few nights without hard liquor though. Finally I got past the cravings but it was a beast. I hear cigarettes are tougher to kick than green.

I sincerely wish that were true. But it’s not. Not only is nicotine the most addictive narcotic after crack cocaine, the habit of doing so after you eat, when you wake up, etc makes it a daily routine that’s hard to shake. The drug and the routine combine to make that shit extra difficult to kick. I mean, I’ve had no problem not smoking pot, or getting hammered, but these ‘ports are on some other shit.

A t-berd is cool if you cant reach the T1s yourself. I’ve had many of my techs just not care enough to make sure the T1 was plugged into the rj45 correctly. I could be wrong on all accounts, but by the terms I know these as, this is what I would do.

^ dig it, the T1 is up an running, my main issue is the conversion from digi to analog. The channel unit in the d4 is not recognizing and or converting the bits, to its electrical equivolent. Time for tier 3 support.

I prefer Fiber over copper, honestly but in regards to networking bandwith depending on the amount of clients I think anything less then 5 mb/s is to small..

For someone who’s supposedly irrelevant, 50 sure did become the focal point of this Shyne post. Let’s be honest, folks aren’t judging 50′s music, they’re judging if they like him as a person. he could drop the musical equivalent of In the Club tonight and folks would hate on it. When the dude gives club bangers, folks say it’s soft. When he gives cats the gutter, folks say his material is the same. I can name serious bangers between both curtis and bisd that folks will hate on. But that dude made Fully Loaded Clip and Strong Enough. This dude made War Angel and Forever King. I’m not hating on anyone else but it’s crazy to me how fans talk about keeping it real and then give Rick Ross a pass the way they did. I can’t listen to a cop make a song about BMF. Just be who you are. And that’s what fif does, he is who he is which is a grimey dude that was blackballed and then got in the door and shitted on cats. You gotta respect a cat that stays the same regardless of when he’s up or down. This reminds me of when folks used to get mad that Tupac didn’t forgive Biggie but that dude felt like he had something to do with him getting shot! Same with fif, after getting popped no one rode with him except Em, Banks and Yayo. Gotta respect him if only for that.
