I always wonder if Just Blaze had a big part in JayE not releasing his music as fast. Didn’t Saigon have the same problem of not releasing enough, and on time? Not to mention Blaze’s beats on Recovery were ASS.

The Big Bang kind of sucked, for Busta’s ability I mean. Going to Aftermath right when Dre was in the process of falling the fuck off kind of hurt him too, I think that album was supposed to be his big move into the upper echelon’s of stardom.
IIRC The Big Bang had more Dre beats than any 50 Cent, Game, or Eminem album, too. Aftermath’s in house producers> Dr .Dre himself.

There’s a reason on 50′s second record his lead singles were Storch beats and not Dre ones. Dre’s beats have a certain coldness to them that don’t make for good hits unless a memorable rapper is on them.
50 carried In Da Club, that beat wouldn’t have been good if other rapped over it. Em carried those Dre beats he rapped over, although Dre stepped his game up on the few Em songs he did.
Game couldn’t step up to the plate with Dre’s beats, that’s why Westside Story and How We Do are very subpar and haven’t aged well at all.
Like land said Busta’s a GOAT candidate on deliver alone [I'd add personality; he's a interesting dude] but you still can’t blame him for not being able to turn boring Dre beats into bangers.

Em doesn’t know how to make sad song without sounding like a whiner, that’s all. There are exceptions to this, like If I Had, but for the most part his decision to make more angry songs in place of sad ones is a good choice.
I don’t think he’s soulless, but he’s definitely had a hard time expressing negative emotions that aren’t anger and rage. Past his second album he tries to and fails. You can always tell a real Em fan from one that became a fan late, just from that. The late one’s actually think he was good at expressing sadness. They’ll think The Eminem Show is is best album, Lose Yourself his best song, and actually like songs like Cleaning Out My Closet.
