If you want to be popular you have to sound good over the kind of production that is popular now.
^ what kind of production is this?
————–
Who said that? That’s BS. Nobody was doing beats like 40 when Drake did SFG. His verses made THAT kinda production hott.
——————————————————-
Why you such a stupid ho?
When 40, Drake, and that SFG tape hit the scene people immediately mentioned how the beats sounded like 808s-lite. Not to mention Drake propensity to sing. He was definitely following a trend in production to an extent.
Don’t get me wrong, Drake brought something new to the game as did 40, but don’t make it sound like ti was something revolutionary. If he wanted to 40 could get work doing those beats for other guys, for some reason he doesn’t want to.

Alchemist is underrated as fu’. Now I’d LIKE to hear a Jada albums that’s completely over Alch beats. He doesn’t have the flow for the pop stuff, he should just stick to this.

======================
i think they just capitalized off what Ye’ did with 808′s and heartbreak minus the heavy autotune
every drake song is a different rendition of Heartless …..slight rapping and singing mid verse and hook

Drake is the most pop dude ever.
Its like a label exec asked kids “in the hood” who they liked. They answered Yeezy and Weezy.
The label exec then used alchemy, mason witchcraft, Voodoo, a dreadlock that wayne dropped, Kanye’s old Jawbone, and a goat sacrifice to create Drake. He used body parts from corpses found in an african-canadian graveyard.
Then they had the great idea of acquiring co-signs from the very people he was created from… Yeezy & Weezy

why has mack maine fell back on the rapping shit.
dude can spit. It would be much better if maine and wayne went back and forth rather then drake and wayne.
