I don’t think that people should be telling him what type of shit to release, but his fans, me included, could use some good positive music. I remember when I went to a Lupe concert in Toronto and me and my only paid 14 bucks a piece. It was right before The Cool dropped, but it had leaked already like 3 Days before the concert. That was the best concert I have ever been to, even til today. Everyone knew the lyrics to the tracks that just leaked. He performed well. He didn’t allow alcohol to be sold during his show, and even hung out after to sign autographs and just kick it..
That was 3 years ago, and not one great song released after… What the fuck happened?

Re: Piranhas 3-D. These movies cost $10m to make, so if they banks $30m at the Box Office, another $10m on DVD/On Demand, they’re ridiculously profitable.

Lupe fucked up with The Cool, bragging about the concept albumness of it (which got me super-hyped) and then completely failing to deliver on it. I’m really, really not trying to hate but that album was a letdown. I thought the production was lacking, the flows were all the same (not to Jadakiss-Aubrey levels, but still), and some of the songs were just boring.
Only ones I really dug were Go Go Gadget Flow, Hip-Hop Saved My Life, and Little Weapon.
