all these dude ARE POSITIVE FATHERS and ROLE MODELS and if YOU were lucky enough not to need on the cool, but there are millions of children that are looking for direction and esteem.

I hear what you’re saying, and that’s cool. But I’ve always felt that too much emphasis was placed on role models in the black community. Role models turn into scape goats real quick when their humanity manifests itself. I’d rather teach a kid to search for the role model that already exists within himself.
