Dre and Timbo did a surprise pop up at the Culver City High School Graduation party. I don’t know if “Promiscuous Girl” is an appropriate song to perform for a bunch of horny teenagers, but maybe that’s just me turning into the lame parent I vowed I’d never be.
On the evening of June 14th, I headed down to Rivington Street for this “concert party” that ALIFE was holding for the release of Thank Me Later, where I finally got to meet a bunch of people I speak to frequently through working for this site. Namely Hof from OnSMASH, Miss Info, Emeka from 10Deep, DJ A-Trak, Chace Infinite, Ray from Mighty Healthy, Jake Davis, FluxuryB, and anyone else I forgot.
Thanks to Oliver, Drake, Future and Campos for the hospitality.
After the jump, there’s a deleted scene from last night’s Drake doc where they film him in the studio working on Fireworks, and 40 talks about the night they made “The Calm.”
Beans is still mad irate @ Jay. He says he’ll smack Drake around for letting Jay talk slick on his song and sends shots at Bleek. He also notes that the one thing he regrets from his time on the Roc is going at Kiss.

Dres brought in Jean Grae for this party themed cut off his upcoming solo project, From The Black Pool Of Genius, due out June 29th.
