I see what you’re saying, but I’d say it’s more just a willingness to work harder. American culture promotes instant gratification and complacency.

***Pretty much…people feel like they’re entitled to ascending, without doing the work to change their station in life- other people are just complacent, waiting for things to come to them (none)- and if they don’t? So what, “I’m coo”, LOL

I don’t think its a big deal cause she’s black. Harvard has 100’s of black students. Its because she got accepted to 4 ivy league school and she’s from flatbush ( mostly poor immigrants). If she was from a rich black family it wouldn’t be a big deal.

yo jihad u really how do break down that ten mile a day run , u run straight through?how many miles is good for starters?

    ^^

    Late pass, B.

I do five in the morning and 5 in the evening, usually about 6-7 hours apart to give my body time to rest. I normally lift from about 6:15am to 7:15am, then run immediately afterwords. Go home, work, then go running again about an hour after I eat dinner (usually starting at about 8pm or 9pm .

Fo beginners, build a running base so you can run for at least 10 min (about a mile) without stopping. Do this routine for a month to build endurance, than add 5 min a week after.

week 1: 4 times a week @ 30 minutes- 5 min walk (warm up) 1 minute run (60-80% intensity), 4 minute walk (40-50% intensity), repeat for 25 minutes. 5 minute cool down walk, then stretch

Week 2: 4 times a week @ 30 minutes- 5 min walk (warm up) 2 minute run (60-80% intensity), 3 minute walk (40-50% intensity), repeat for 25 minutes. 5 minute cool down walk, then stretch

Week 3: 5 times a week @ 30 minutes- 5 min walk (warm up) 3 minute run (60-80% intensity), 2 minute walk (40-50% intensity), repeat for 25 minutes. 5 minute cool down walk, then stretch

Week 4: 6 times a week @ 30 minutes- 5 min walk (warm up) 4 minute run (60-80% intensity), 1 minute walk (40-50% intensity), repeat for 25 minutes. 5 minute cool down walk, then stretch

I did that twice a day to begin. Try to run at a pace where you can still speak without wheezing between every other word– if you can’t talk while running, your going to fast and will mess up your progress.

After Week 5, keep the same routine, but begin @ 6 minutes running, 4 minutes walking, and increase the time to 40-45 minutes. subtract a minute every week until your up to 10 minutes straight running. at that point, you should have the endourance built to run for 30 minutes straight @ 60-85% your max capacity. After that, simply add 5-10 minutes every week, running @ least 4-5 times a week until you reach 1 hour, which averages about 5 miles.

    Hope that helps.

Yep. And while I dug The Cool, I can see clearly why alot of cats didn’t. He needs a succint album with dope soulful production. 12 tracks, no opaque-ness and attempts at overreaching concepts. Just songs.

All the trax seem rough. I like the track with Robin and Minions Mambo but they need to slow the vocals down so kids will be able to sing along. It’s rough but its realistic to think that in 5 to 10 years Pharell will when an Oscar for best original score. Genius. Exit rap/pop game enter continuous scratch.
