damn, being signed to Def Jam in these times is like a 25-Life sentence. But what other options do rappers have in terms of going independent? most don’t have the know-how to successfully go the indie route. Wiz only one I know pulling it off well enough to be selling out shows and maintain buzz. Anybody got some articles on the subject?

Rappers who cant work an independent deals loses anyhow. Why wouldn’t you research your “profession”? Businesses fold mostly on the lack of knowledge in the said field and signing contracts without being able to read them correctly (at least the numbers) means you lost before you begun. Margs need to smarten up. Taking a music business class or picking up a Music Business For Dummies is a good look for “Dummies”.

A lotta suckas gone hate off top! but hate the playa hate the game, this dude had hi shit tight from day one. I’m sure he knew what he was getting his self into with this deal. understand this aint the first time a deal was offered to him. so for the NAYSAYERS do ya homework and research and maybe DUMB ASS comments like the ones above will cease to exist…
