    if you only listen to conscious rap, you’ll prefer that
    and vice-versa

    butyeah I’ll personally listen to Nas on anything, if its bad, its bad, but last album was good. I enjoyed it, it was not a Nas album itwas a Nas/Damian Marley album.

    If you get past the change in his voice/flow, Shyne is saying something. He hasn’t abandoned the worldview he had on Shyne or Godfather Buried Alive. He’s bringing a different perspective to the game, that mixes some consciousness with the regular street tough shtick.

    You must be listening to the verses he put out for his singles and BBB.

    Just cause he’s stepped out of the spotlight for a minute doesn’t mean he fell off. I’ve heard a couple of joints (ie. I Wanna Rock freestyle, Let’s Cruise, etc) that go extremely hard.

    Plus, Santana sees all the Vado comparisons. The ego can inspire greatness.

    I hopes it works out for them and they just focus on making good music & getting some $$$$.

    But somehow WHENEVER a group tries to recapture the “ol magic” it never seems to quite feel the same EPMD, The Fugees (one single and out), ATCQ (I C U Doin it terrible), The Wu, ETC.

    While these are groups are on hiatus the game keeps moving forward. NO ONE can just pick up where they left off. The key is NOT to stop.
