I’m like B. I started at 266, and now I’m chilling @ 216 (working on getting to 200 or less), and I wanted to be able to do pull-ups. I added this routine to what I was already doing, and now I can bang out 10 easy.
Do this for a month, 2-3 times a week (tue. thur. sat), as a separate work-out.
Week 1: Negative Chin-Ups- Start at the top of the bar, and slowly drop for 5-6 seconds. Do 4-6 reps, 2-3 Sets.
Week 2: Negative Neutral Grip Pull-Ups- Same as above
Week 3: Negative Chin-Ups- Same as above, but do 3-4 reps @ 8-10 Sec. 2 Sets.
Week 4: Negative Pull-ups- Same as Week 3.
At the start of the next week, see how many you can do. If you still can’t do at least 3, start over from week 1. Negatives help build your back strength to enable you to do pull-ups. Also try working on your grip strength (wrist curls) to help keep you on the bar.

Trap or Die 1….
@ Kufi Smacks
JihaD
Got it…
see i thought you had to do at least 10 reps on 10 sets… thats how i do everything!!!
but i will try that on the perfect pull up bar….

It’s hard for me to stop hatin’ on dude. I mean, granted he is a living legend in the game and has put in work. But when Pun died so did the facade of his lyrical prowess. “Hidden Hand” is still the hardest and greatest rap song by a group of Latinos. Shoutouts to the Beatnuts.

With all this Drizzy hype I was expecting more than 463,000. BP3 did 476,000. I don’t know maybe it’s because it’s been a year later and more people are downloading for free than last year. Not bad though for a debut. If Drake had a # 1 single on the Hot 100 those numbers would have been higher. He just didn’t have that, lets say, “Lollipop”.

Slum,
Spitta’s not that nice; thats why his “shine” was delayed. Add that to the fact that he signed with No Limit and Cash Money, and you have your answer right there. That nigga is boring to me, but I can see why he appeals to a certain demographic, but his music (and Wiz, and Wale, and damn near most people championed on this site) is not for me.
As far as Dame is concerned, if he signed Beanie Sigel, Freeway, etc etc, and was able to get Bleek consecutive Gold plaques, then I don’t possibly see how he can’t push Currensy to respectable (by today’s standards) #’s.

I’m confused. You do or don’t like what Dame is doing? When I said “that stuff with Dame doesn’t seem that serious”, I was refering to complex basically saying he was being rude at Curren$y’s listening party. Creative Control seems pretty dope to me…
June 22nd, 2010 at 6:35 pm

f this hurts spitta – an artist whose shine has been delayed senselessly over and over for no reason – then fuck dame a million times, n/h. he picked the wrong burgeoning artist to indirectly shit on
^^^
Slum,
Spitta’s not that nice; thats why his “shine” was delayed.

I don’t understand what your saying…
My point ( in relation to Slum’s post) was that Spitta is not “Shining” aka more mainstream or whatever because his career path (and his actual ability to make music) was pretty shitty. He signed to No Limit after the wave was over, and signed with Dwayne when he wasn’t that popular (yet).
If that is what you are disagreeing with (and I seriously don’t understand your post), then explain how I’m wrong.

Drake’s 1st week sales= 463k
^^^
not bad.
—————————
Yeah, given how quickly sales are deteriorating, I’ think that’s more impressive than T.I. doing 585k, or even Jay doing 475k [especially since TML leaked earlier].
That said, not as impressive as Wayne doing a milli, or Kanye almost doing a milli on Graduation.
Although as far as money is concerned outside of touring Drake stands to make more than Wayne/Kanye, because he’s way more likely to strike acting and endorsement deals.

And aside form singing and rapping mixing together more, IU don’t see newer guys following Drake.
The new popular mold of rapper was set from 07-09 by Wayne and Kanye. So far the imitators can’t hold a candle to the inventors.
