And this is sums it up Ladies and Gents, all that other shit you said, whether it be plausible to not, I just simply don’t believe it to be genuine. It all boils down to G7 being turned off by Drakes faux accent and him being a Canadian…It’s that home town pride ish…cool.

Also, IMO Light Up was a bad example to choose because that’s one of the best hooks on the album…better examples would of been Shut It down or Ceces Interlude…songs where he actually tries hard to sing and sings for the whole song.
I can only takes Drakes singing in doses (ie short hooks). That’s why I’m not feeling Shut It Down or Cece’s Interlude…but Karaoke is nice…
