that Recovery album is decent…not better than Eminem Show but def. better than Encore and Relapse. Em will sell and alot of ppl will appreciate that he took a more serious undertone and dropped the accent.
The other day me and RNC were debatin on if him being white having anything to do with his sales and yes it does. In a predominately black genre EVERYONE wants to hear somethin different, hence the white rapper appeal. The only thing is Eminem is legend ant the rest of these white guys i.e Asher, Bubba Sparxx and Paul Wall to name a few are fads. They caught the attention of the crowd for a short time but Eminem is able to maintain it.
The fact that Eminem is the most lyrical dude alive and the technicalities of everything included shows why ppl consider him a legend, being white is jus another benefit for him.

Word to Camel having to fill up BP3 with Guest after Guest to make those sales numbers. Looks like Wheelchair caught that same -Itis, and many of these cds dropping this year are doing the same. Shit, classics like RTD (1 feature!) and Illmatic (1 Feature) marginalized the feature, so you could actually hear the artists’ vision for their work. Prince of Persia was a mess. I like mindless popcorn movies but I couldn’t get past Jake Ggyylleennhhaallll as a persian, and the dang thing just meandered. that Recovery album is decent…not better than Eminem Show but def. better than Encore and Relapse. Em will sell and alot of ppl will appreciate that he took a more serious undertone and dropped the accent.
The other day me and RNC were debatin on if him being white having anything to do with his sales and yes it does. In a predominately black genre EVERYONE wants to hear somethin different, hence the white rapper appeal. The only thing is Eminem is legend ant the rest of these white guys i.e Asher, Bubba Sparxx and Paul Wall to name a few are fads. They caught the attention of the crowd for a short time but Eminem is able to maintain it.
The fact that Eminem is the most lyrical dude alive and the technicalities of everything included shows why ppl consider him a legend, being white is jus another benefit for him.

yeah fisher stepped up yesterday. I can’t even comment on last nights game, as much as I hate the lakers, I will give credit where it’s due, and last nights game was prolly one of the best finals games in recent history.
When boston got within one, I just knew all hell was gonna break loose.

Garnett stepping up was a gift & a curse, he did hold the celtics down and kept them in the game, but the offense slows down when going through KG (n) and boston is better in transition against the lakers, rather then setting up a offensive attack on a lengthy team like LA (n)

I kinda agree, but The A-Team is a good fit for a full-length film, and The Karate Kid story won’t be hurt by a remake, and at best it could resonate with a whole new generation.
(if not, it’ll be like “We Are The World” where the remake is tripe but the original holds up extremely, extremely well)

He had that microfracture surgery which was in its infancy then and that’s why he never made it back.
