  8. AmpGeez a.k.a. Smoke Greene Says:

Invincible is nice…but no one is bumping that in their ride or at a club.

She might as well be a dude.

    Where’s the feminine perspective?

  9. AmpGeez a.k.a. Smoke Greene Says:

    Jean Grae > Invincible

  10. JohnDough Says:

  13. Ant Says:

    Lady luck is dope too

  14. CHILE ! Says:

Jean Grae, yeah she’s nice and sexy but as far as invincible goes , she got plenty songs talkin some relevant shit on a women perspective, i mean, she dont gotta talk about her issues wit the period or rap about give her pussy away, she looks like a dyke tho, but have a lot of substance on her lyrics..

  17. D. Billz Says:

Eve battled the whole RR squad to get her deal. She will forever get that respect from me. And her 1st album was kinda dope.

With that being said, Jean Grae will body the list. She just doesn’t get acknowledged due to no mainstream hits.

    Queen Latifah is GOAT.

    3/5 had ghostwriters.

  24. Mook Says:

If anybody think Nicki is wack listen to “Up All Night” w/Drake. She did her thing. When she really just raps and leave the animations alone she really is a top notch female rapper. Whether you hate the Barbie shit, the fake ass, or the fake tits you still gotta give her props.

  25. kelito-vision Says:

Broken Silence by Foxy Brown is the GOAT female rap record

u only nice around mics/like Pippen

  26. No_neva-eva Says:

Naw, Hardcore is, but Broken Silence is really reallyl dope tho.

  31. 456 Says:

and nicki killed niggas in the cypher on the bet awards. she may have singlehandedly ended buckshot’s career

  32. SeniorCivilian Says:

Completely LF: TML is by no means bad, but it really is just more of the same from SFG. Both are quality works, but I think that people got hyped by SFG because they thought it was just the tip of the iceberg (no homo, slim) but now that TML is out I’m realizing that SFG covered Drake’s entire shtick. He really has nothing else to offer. Maybe he evolves on later records, I don’t know.

  33. b-ease Says:

Flow tighter than a dick in the butt…. smh

    ^^
lol, yea, disgusting, but a chick can get away with that. Her flow was pretty fucking crazy on that tho.

  34. 456 Says:

broken silence > hardcore only because fox broke out the patois. lol, it was unfair.

  35. kedordu Says:

so i guess miseducation isnt classed as rap . rightfully so cause it transcended hiphop . in that case ill give GOAT album to broken silence .

  36. 456 Says:

That’s what I expected, and I think its the smart move. Going too far left or too far right wouldve put him in a precarious position. Make TML So Far Gone on steroids to give yourself and you get consumer confidence, which gives him more creative leeway on the next project.

  39. Macson Escobar Says:

Masspike Miles tape iz goona be a serious problem
dude still hungry. dude keep it tight on his music
love drunk alrdy a classic. street judge on top
good music .over. everything. real hustlin’

I cant really call it a true hiphop record with a clear conscience. Classic record, but how many times does she actually rap on it? There’s Lost Ones, Doo Wop, and quick 16s on Forgive Them and Everything. I’m pretty sure that’s it.

Im not sure any album touched the black woman like that…she touched on relationships, aboriton, gold digging, been a mom, having a baby, lost love, finding love, falling in love and even had a diss song on the album, talked about dudes flossing for chicks, been dark sking female vs light and a host of other issues.sss…just think a dark skin chick with dreads won album of the year and sold 10 mil and a host of other awards, without stripping

Thanks for the clever insight you dumb ass niggas. You are exactly the kind of focus group ass niggas that the industry loves, willing to swallow down any sort of bullshit they feed you and accept it because “it’s dope” while not providing any sort of reasoning why. I personally hate all of those artists because of their personas, their predictable rhyme schemes, subpar puns, lack of content, and depending on ill beats to make themselves sound dope. At least Jay-Z was once/kinda still is a respectable rapper, so Iceberg your stanning isn’t as bad and I only crack on Jay as a joke. However, 456, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the same nigga that let his girl get gangbanged by mandingos is the same cat that thinks Rawse/Nicki/Drake are “dope”.

No disrespect, but I like music that entertains me, not tries to teach me a life lesson. I spent 7 years of school to learn so im done with that. I do not need Nas a 8th grade drop out reciting things and misfacts(rocafeller died of aids) he has heard while burning with jungle and other ninjas that a smart dumb ninjas, I like to be entertained, taken on a fantasy ride or a musical journey that takes me away from every day life. I do not need to hear nas telling me the Mississippi burning and roots story on a album long cd….I have doctorates but for entertainment I enjoy superbad not a movie on The History of Thought
