I got a sneaking suspicion that Jay-Z’s next album’s sound will be dependent on how well Kanye’s, Drake’s, T.I.’s and Eminem’s albums albums sell respectively. That way he’ll know who to copy in order to get that casual pop audience that actually pays for stuff, all the while maintaining credibility in the hip hop universe.
The main guy he’ll be focusing in is Kanye, since their closer and he’s easier to follow.
There will be some vague concept that is nothing more than a marketing ploy- like retirement album, comeback album, concept-based-on-gangster-movie-so-I-can-talk-about-crack-again album, anti-autotune album, etc.
The beats, hooks and guest verses will distract many from the fact that Jay has nothing to say.

I used to have an interest in dude’s music, but Twitter kind of made him lose his appeal, and after he started showing flaws in his character and as a man, his music started to go shitty.
Someone (most rappers) needs an intervention.
1st: get off of Twitter
It’s not that important, you’re not creating anything lasting. Go make quality music instead of putting garbage remixes of pop songs.
2: get non rapper friends. People that could teach you morals and values, maybe then you can perfect your craft. It’s sad, no one wants to hear crap music from artists that have/had potential.
