Our scrub QB threw an interception to Cushing.. and I decided I didnt want to see that 0-0 score change.. so I met him at a full sprint at the 1 yard line with full force…

Yeah, that’s more or less what my thought process was on the matter.

and Lebron doesnt seem like he has the patience or high basketball IQ that he needs yet… and ive noticed that in traffic, his ballhandling (nohomo) is kinda suspect at times… as well as his midrange game… if LBJ’s jumper aint falling, he becomes no more than Dominique Wilkins … who has no rings…

he’s definitely no Kobe Bryant yet… at all …
    ^
Co-sign and he also needs to hit those big free throws. Like i don’t think he fully understands how detrimental missing big free throws in the clutch can be. KG told that niggas in of the the last regular season games and I’m paraphrasing …”hit you free throws then come talk to me..”

He is certianly no Kobe Bryant. Had to say that one more time.

    @ Rey:

As authorities tell it, the wheelman wasn’t a man but a boy, 14, driving a silver Chrysler minivan with three passengers, at least two of them adults. When they were done shooting, police said, four victims lay dead or dying, and five others were bleeding from wounds.

The assailants carried at least three weapons, investigators said: an AK-47-style assault rifle, which police later recovered, and two handguns, a 9mm and a .45-caliber, identified from shell casings found at the scene of the carnage.

It was one of the deadliest outbreaks of violence in the District in years: a drive-by shooting into a crowd of people, many of them teenagers, whose bodies fell in piles Tuesday night. And panic and chaos ensued. The suspects sped away, chased by police cars and a helicopter in a frantic pursuit that left four officers slightly injured in a collision of cruisers and ended with the youth and two adults in handcuffs.

The reason for the mayhem? It might have begun with something this trivial: a missing bracelet.

“My child barely weighed 100 pounds . . . shot in the temple with an AK-47 . . . bullets all in her body. It’s senseless,” said Nardyne Jefferies, the mother of 16-year-old Brishell Jones, who was killed.

Based on evidence and interviews thus far, authorities think the attack was part of a cycle of retaliation spawned a week ago by suspicions of petty theft. “It looks to be just that silly,” said one law enforcement official, speaking on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is continuing.

Investigators said they think the mass shooting in the 4000 block of South Capitol Street in the Washington Highlands neighborhood is linked to the fatal shooting of Jordan Howe, 20, in Southeast Washington a week earlier. That incident was prompted by a man’s anger over his missing gold-colored bracelet, according to investigators and court documents. At least some of the victims Tuesday had just attended Howe’s funeral, law enforcement officials said.

  420. hl Says:

God’s Son is an awesome album, but you gotta mention how awful “Zone Out” was.

    Zone Out was dope IMO.

  421. 456 Says:

Illmatic>Stillmatic tho IMO illmatic is nearly flawless with respect to the time period. Excellent vivd pic of his environment, lyrics phenomenal beats good too only down point only 10 tracks

^if lost tapes counts it replaces street disciples. illmatic comes before it was written simply off “nas is coming”.
    ^^^

yea lost tapes is better than SD, i would count that one but stillmatic is his best effort to date, i actually got to go back and listen to GS and LT because i think i prefer LT

Zone Out wouldn’t be bad if Nas’ weedcarriers didn’t possess the worst flows in history. They sound like Jay Elec in an interview on that track.

niggas live through they raps and im an eminem stan but these niggas come into character only when they startin recitin lyrics. There’s a sense of realism to it that makes it more believable but alot of the images these guys portray is faulty as far as actuality goes

Yeah, Vol. 3 would be that one, Life & Times of S. Carter.. I wasn’t feeling Jay’s music back then and from what I’ve heard ’round here, that’s not a bad one to skip, even tho’ I went back and copped his other albums. Only 2 I’m missing are Roc La Familia and Dynasty (and BOBW 2, but um, no)

    Top 5 Nas IMO:

    1. It Was Written
    2. Illmatic
    3. Lost Tapes
    4. Stillmatic

Sometimes I don’t count Lost Tapes off the strength it was a collection of Unreleased joints… but if I took that out I’d throw Distant Relatives in the mix
