In part 2 of his interview with SpineTV, Jay vents about the, largely unjustified, hate NY has historically shown the South. He specifically speaks on remarks made by RZA about the intelligence of Southern MCs.
Without getting into a whole big thing, I hear what homie is saying, and he’s mostly on point, but let’s not act like there haven’t been a whole slew of special needs MCs that have come out of the South in the last decade or two.
But hey, I know my share of short bus riding motherfuckers right here in NY.

This is true, but whats funny is the south is supposed to be so slow, but you cant name one smart east coast mc that has been smart enough to go gold in the last ten years besides 50 cent, east coast has yet to spit rhymes that tthe other 47 stats can identify with, but yet the other states are slow??
