Video: Lil Boosie – Top to the Bottom

One of the three videos Motion Family shot during a weekend in Baton Rouge back in September 2009.

This is one of the three videos (Mind of A Maniac, Brothers Keeper) we shot back in September 2009 during a weekend trip to Baton Rouge. After 4 hours of shooting we had to cut it short because of a meeting Boosie had with his lawyers and never got a chance to finish filming. When his best friend Bleek passed away April 1, 2010 we were inspired to revisit this footage because of his heavy presence in the video and come up with something in his memory. Per Boosie’s request, we are releasing this unofficial video.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some commenters started hopping on the Boosie bandwagon like they did with Ross.

You can’t be a good MC when your best verse is

    “B-O-O-S-I-E-B-A-D-A-Z-Z THAT’S ME!”

Im really interested in seeing what type of longevity drake will have. there is only so long that people can listen to you rap about the good life. Even when he raps about his struggle its like the good life struggle. I could really give a fuck if u had to park your Phantom 5 houses down.

^its hard to have people party to your downtrodden struggle. only the greatest hiphop artists and reggae artist achieve this feat

I predict Big Pooh’s future projects will be better than Phonte’s. It was written.

***you’re talking music, or their future housing accommodations?

That’d be kinda difficult seeing as how Phonte is more talented.

Yeah, but does he really want to rap? Sleepers is better than anything Phonte has done solo. If Big Pooh ever finishes that project with Nottz I’d rather hear that than Foriegn Exchange.

Exactly! It’s a fucking shame his career began and ended with that one HOT FUCKING 16 he dropped with ‘It’s Alright’.. I remember hearing that shit and thinking he was gonna be the next ‘big thing’ (none) in hip hop.. Umm my bad for that thought!

  16. landlord Says:

Aint that what Drakes trying to be tho? You have to be able to hit on a wide range of topics, deciding which champagne to pour on a bitch aint the only thing niggas worry about(unfortunatly).

  18. JDS just looks at her, looks at her... Says:

i need a hip-hop party in my life.

just have the ladies and gents get fresh and get together in a ballroom, have fake gold ropes and four-finger rings as party favors, get your drink/eat on, and have a good DJ spin the classics until the AM

  19. landlord Says:

Phonte would have a longer, more prosperous career as a singer, rather than a rapper

  20. illuminati by nature Says:

Tiger’s senses shattering confession but he won’t admit the one that ended his marriage to Elin for good!

Tiger Woods has admitted that he cheated with as many as 120 women while married to Elin!

Yet, while coming clean during therapy, he failed to mention the one-night stand he knew would destroy his shaky marriage.

The serial cheater hid from therapists – and Elin — his most shocking conquest – Number 121 – say sources.

And after Elin learned The ENQUIRER was revealing the story, she made the decision to sign divorce papers.

    ***LMAO @ this Caubligga…

He essentially made the same point himself in the Little Brother retrospectieve (dope read btw) that was in Lite at the begininng of the week.

i bet Tiger smashed her twin sister…

  27. oh4werd Says:

jus got back and jus for the record…

    Fab>>>>Drake

but fab has no classics jus consistency wit good songs although he has no charisma

J Cole is waaay nicer on the mic than big sean has a better style and therefore no one knows how well each of them will do in the mainstream but its almost guaranteed Big Sean is more marketable

  28. landlord Says:

smh @ the media STILL looking in this man’s (TigerWoods) trash cans and sniffing around his dirty underwear…

while serial rapist Ben Roethlisberger STAYS raping bitches, free of hassle from the papparrazzi …

  29. oh4werd Says:

  31. notarapper Says:

not trying to be funny, but in the first verse of this song he says everyone thought he would be dead or in jail. the closing shot is of him and his boy, one’s dead, one’s in jail. that’s some cold irony
