Cookin Soul pays tribute to the late great Teddy Pendergrass.
Soul/R&B legend Teddy Pendergrass recently passed away on January 13, 2010 at age 59. As fans of his music and legacy, we decided to create this Tribute mixtape, using samples and interpolations of some of his best works as one of the best artists and performers in R&B history.
The project includes instrumental tracks and songs featuring Amanda Diva, Curren$y, Joell Ortiz, Doo Wop, Jadakiss, Saigon, Novel, 40 Cal, Ryuzo (R-Rated), Tek (Smif-N-Wessun), LA The Darkman, Willie The Kid, Sha Stimuli & Dante Hawkins.
