***That jawn has been getting atrocious reviews, so far…excerpts of Rotten Tomatoes reviews:
The bastard film of 100 idiots.
There are a lot of things wrong with this remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, not least of which is that it was made at all.
As is the case with most remakes, this one is pretty pointless.
For all his calculated bumps in the night and shots of creepy-looking preschoolers moping around a boiler room, Bayer misses the little things that made the original so hard to forget. Craven was right to keep his distance from this one.
2010′s Nightmare isn’t just flawed, but without any merit whatsoever, amongst the worst of Platinum Dunes’ cinematic abortions and as bad, if not worse, than Freddy’s Revenge and Freddy’s Dead.
Good luck staying awake.
I don’t hate the new A Nightmare on Elm Street on principle. I hate the new A Nightmare on Elm Street because it sucks.
A Nightmare On Elm Street will give me bad dreams of studio executives counting up their filthy lucre made off of a generation willing to accept this sort of spoon-fed garbage and not of the monster they’ve so completely neutered by this point.
Freddy’s 2010 makeover made him look like a burn victim meets a Na’vi creature from ‘Avatar.’ Also, for a movie that is about its characters fighting sleep to survive, it’s a shame ‘Elm Street’ induces a few REM-driven naps.
Too many more remakes as dull and bland as A Nightmare on Elm Street could kill off horror movies for good

“As for Good Ass Job’s overall sound, Preemo says the album, which also reportedly features production from RZA, Q-Tip and Pete Rock, will be a nod to early ‘90s hip hop.
“He told me how he wanted this album to be really boom-bap, hard, hard beats,” Premier says. “He said, ‘No electro Preem, I swear no electro [Laughs].’ Ye is still that crazy dude he’s always been. With Kanye West busy recording his upcoming tentatively-titled album Good Ass Job in his Diamond Head, Hawaii studio, another legendary producer is offering insight into the buzz-heavy project.
“I’m working with Kanye. He reached out to me like, ‘Yo, you at the studio?’” “DJ Premier tells VIBE. “He came by at 8 p.m. and didn’t leave until three in the morning. We were drinking Grey Goose and just bugging out. It was me, Kanye and Showbiz, from Showbiz & AG talking about the whole industry.”
As for Good Ass Job’s overall sound, Preemo says the album, which also reportedly features production from RZA, Q-Tip and Pete Rock, will be a nod to early ‘90s hip hop.
“He told me how he wanted this album to be really boom-bap, hard, hard beats,” Premier says. “He said, ‘No electro Preem, I swear no electro [Laughs].’ Ye is still that crazy dude he’s always been. Drake is garbage. End of story. He is really falling of from the nowhere that he actually went. His lyrics are getting worse as time goes.
His must have lost Weezy’s rhyme book.
April 30th, 2010 at 12:53 pm
Oh … Aiight. I wanna see the production credits on that tape. Only names I know that are Cannon and Redd.

Accurate.

The problem with Fab is not whether or not he has talent, but whether or not he knows what to do with it… pause.
April 30th, 2010 at 12:53 pm
Not a fan of either one but Drake had a better verse on that Throw it in the bag remix
April 30th, 2010 at 12:54 pm
I like Snoop, and have most of his albums, but his guest appearances are the worst…

Puhleeze. Drake killed Fab on his own track! See: Throw it in the Bag remix.
Next thing u know, Fab’s stealing flows from Aubrey.

***nah, just bored with the argument..I think Drake’s a cornball…Fab’s not Nas or anybody like that, but he’s put out listenable music….and on top of that, he can rhyme…not just speak in the same cadence on every song, with a fake midwest/southern accent and affect…

Sayin Drake should stay away from making music like that lest his career be short lived. It was right before Drake dropped “Killers” with Nipsey.

but Ludacris only recently started that. He used to be better IMO. and Fab is decent. He has some consistancy, but like someone else said “he has had a 10 year career and not said anything of substance”
which is okay I guess.

April 30th, 2010 at 1:08 pm
My Drake experience:
Started listening a little before SFG was gonna drop
Level : Hyped
SFG came out
Level : Fuckin hyped
Best I Ever Had blew up, video came out
Level : …smh wtf are yall thinkin
Various features, changed his flow, simplified his shit, signed to YM
Level : Smh what the hell man, whatever make your money, I’ll listen to you cause I fucks with Wayne
Drops Over
Level : Hm. Pretty dope.
Drops that Kanye shit
Level : No longer anticipating Thank Me Later.
Bring on Cole, Em, Jay Elec, Kanye and Lupe. Good ass year for hip hop, we don’t need Drake.
