I know I know… I took the picture before I built the box. I actually called rockford and got the specs for the subs and built a ported box to hit at 35 htz… and it matched the floor of the trunk, I just never took another pic… or at least I cant find it…

Okay, couple lines made me smirk. Proceed, Cole.

Most likely, yeah. This song isn’t bad, but it’s not a single, it’s not special, and the longer it went on the less I liked it. This is a good Soundtrack song, or Intro to an album song, but without better/more memorable music framing it, it’s ehhh status

how many people worldwide hear the thuggin in the music and see these images on TV and think that this is what black people are all about.
^
tardy pass: you, my friend, have no idea how ridiculous we look to the rest of the world. as someone who’s globetrotted a fair amount over the last decade or so, i will say that Mtv/BET have totally ruined any respect that an American Black male could hope to garner from the international community. case in point: i’m walking down the street in Turkey and several young merchants (who – prior to noticing me – were trying to peddle their leather/stoneware goods to several white tourists in damn near perfect English) saw me and immediately started repeatedly shouting “G-Unit!!!” and “Whats up my Neegah?!” my mind was blown simply b/c they were dead serious. this is how they genuinely believe a conversation with random Black people should begin. true story.

Meh…at the same time, at what point do we stop trying to explain away the next man’s ignorance…that example is really not much different than the average american idiot that thinks the Middle East is filled with nothing but suicidal islamic terrorists…or somebody walking up to a random asian person making “ching chong ching” noises and faux kung fu moves…whose fault is that really? Do you go “Damn those movies about arab terrorists or asian ninjas” or do place the onus on the ignorant idiot?

Obviously the street single, but it bumps in the car. The beat is dope and Jermaine’s rhymes have never been off-point in the first place … but nobody been getting on him about that. As far as people saying the album isn’t ever gonna drop, smh. Cole and No ID been in the studio and with the artist partially producing the ENTIRE disc you gotta think that will cut through a lot of the industry red tape and get the disc out quicker. I bet this will be an early fall release, definitely not a summer time release. Cole’s music is like Oscar nominated movies, better digested in the fall… while Drizzy is a blockbuster summer movie. I like em both but I think Cole got the edge so far, wheres that CDQ of Fireworks lol.
P.S. The Warm Up was perfect, Cole don’t need another mixtape… just like So Far Gone. One and done son. Time for the LP. Lettttttttts GO.
