Also, he looks silly running around with the last name Gotti. Imagine him introducing himself to some Italians or worse, actual mobsters. I had an employee once from the Czech Republic. He told me a story about how he came over here and was wearing a shirt that said “original gangsta” on it. He really didn’t get the connection between the music videos he saw on TV and real life. He wore it downtown as was getting clowned and checked by total random strangers and actual gangsters. He said he went home and threw it away. My homeboy turned to him and said, “Man, I’m black. And I would never even think about wearing that.”
Dude learns a lot that day, but it makes me wonder about how many people worldwide hear the thuggin in the music and see these images on TV and think that this is what black people are all about.
