Actually not. That (the tweet) didn’t convinced me, to be honest. But in a recent MTV article where Fat Joe talks about Jeezy’s hook on Slow Down, they talk about the name and, apparently, Jeezy confirmed himself the change is false. Here :
“Nah. I’m ‘Young,’ man,” he declared. “I’mma stay Young till I ain’t Young no more. I don’t know why they trying to make me old. But this is ‘Young Jizzle from the bottom of the map.’ This is the name they gave me. I gotta rock till it’s over with.”

EXACTLY. Plies take’s ignorance to another level. This and his verse on “Wasted” are so dumb they’re actually the most memorable parts of their respective songs.
That and between his allegedly good academics and the fact that he comes off as being very articulate for a rapper in interviews, Plies isn’t actually a stupid guy.
Of course I wouldn’t listen to a Plies album.

Nah man Zaytoven and Gucci don’t put out more heat than Bangladesh and Gucci. Lemonade and Stupid Wild are some of the hottest if not the hottest tracks Gucci has made so far. Bangladesh knows how to not just produce a fire beat for Gucci…but put out beats that suit Gucci’s voice. Main reason why Lemonade was doing so good on the radio. If him and Weezy(SMH) weren’t locked up right now Stupid Wild would have probably got released as the next single and Gucci would have got a lot of new fanbase. He had that one year of house arrest + He served 10 months + had to pay about 5 million + 1000h of community service (if I recall correctly, that number may be wrong) and, after sentence, he still has 3 years of probation.
So, after all, he did have to pay. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it is as bad as 3,5 years, but he did have to pay.
